A property fresh off a build or renovation is not dirty in the normal sense — it is covered in fine dust, plaster residue and offcuts that a standard clean is not built to deal with. That is what a sparkle clean is for.
What it covers
A typical sparkle clean includes:
- •Dust removal throughout, including surfaces a standard clean would not check
- •Floors swept, vacuumed and mopped
- •Internal glass, windows, sills and frames
- •Kitchen and bathroom fixtures, brought up to a builder’s clean standard
- •Skirting boards, doors and door frames
- •General debris and packaging cleared from surfaces
What it does not cover
We clear general dust, debris and packaging as part of the clean, but we are not a waste removal or skip service. Rubble and heavy waste need to be cleared before we start, otherwise the visit is spent moving things rather than cleaning them.
Timing matters
The earlier a sparkle clean happens after the last trade leaves, the more effective it is, and the less dust has had a chance to resettle into finished surfaces. It generally needs more notice than a standard domestic booking because of how long it takes.
Repeat work
If this is a regular part of how you finish a job rather than a one-off, ask about a trade rate instead of being quoted fresh every time.
We do sparkle cleans after a build or renovation across Kent, plus trade rates for regular work.
