This policy explains what personal information Quick Clean Kent Ltd collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it properly.

Quick Clean Kent Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17430378, with a registered office at 29 Thrale Way, Gillingham, Kent, ME8 9LX. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

What we collect and why
When you book a clean through our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the address of the property to be cleaned, along with the service you have requested, the property size, the date and start time you have chosen, any optional extras you select, and anything you write in the notes field.
We need this information to actually provide the service. Without the property address we cannot attend, and without contact details we cannot confirm the booking or reach you if something changes. The lawful basis for this is performance of a contract.
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address and phone number, along with whatever you write in your message. We use this only to reply to you. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically responding to an enquiry you have made.
What we do not collect
We do not take card details through this website. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your information to anyone. We do not build marketing profiles or add you to a mailing list because you booked a clean.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- •Supabase — stores booking and enquiry records securely in our database
- •Resend — sends the confirmation and notification emails relating to your booking
- •Vercel — hosts the website itself
- •The cleaner assigned to your job — receives the property address and any access or job-specific instructions, so they can carry out the work
- •Google — when we are running adverts, receives confirmation that a booking took place so we know which adverts work. Not your name or details
We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as you remain a client and for a period afterwards, so that we have a record of work carried out at a property. This matters if a question ever arises about a job, and some records need retaining for accounting and tax purposes.
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for a shorter period. If you want your information deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Photographs
We photograph work on completion, and we photograph any pre-existing damage before starting. This protects both you and us if there is ever a dispute about the condition a property was left in.
These photographs are of the property, not of people. We do not publish photographs of a client’s property publicly without asking permission first.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- •Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- •Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- •Ask us to delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it
- •Object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict that use
- •Ask for your information in a portable format
To exercise any of these, email hello@quickcleankent.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Cookies and advertising
The booking system uses essential functionality only, and the admin area uses a login cookie which is only ever set for us, not for visitors.
When we are running Google Ads, we use Google’s conversion tracking so we can tell which adverts actually lead to bookings. This sets cookies from Google and tells us that a booking came from an advert. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or to retarget you with adverts elsewhere.
If you would rather not be tracked this way, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s own ad settings at myadcenter.google.com. Blocking it will not affect your ability to book with us.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly rather than only posted here.
